I do a lot and have always done a lot. In addition to my CrossFit career, I am a full-time Flight Attendant for Southwest Airlines and spend 3 to 4 nights in hotels every single week. I used to work in Higher Education at the university level as a Director for First Year and Transfer Student Orientation Programs. I also used to work in Non-Profit Mental Health Work. I absolutely love health & fitness!
I got my CrossFit L-1 Certification in 2015, but didn’t start coaching seriously until 2017 in Seattle, WA. I later got my L-2 while coaching in Northern California, and then my CCFT/CF-L3 credential during the 2020 pandemic. But I initially fell in love with the CrossFit methodology because of its holistic approach to fitness…I love that it’s accessible to all body types and fitness backgrounds and ages and skill levels. I love the “simplicity” of it all, in a way, and seeing the immense impact this type of training has on people’s quality of life. I love teaching and motivating and have always felt drawn to opportunities to “coach” others into their best versions of themselves. I love this shit.
My 1RM Bench Press is heavier than my 1RM Front Squat.
I have 120+ words tattooed on my body, including 4 in Latin.
I cannot run a 5:00 mile.
My best Deadlift is 405lbs.
I will never pass an opportunity to pet a nearby puppy.
